last week in the dam !!!

wow this week flew bye and was chalk full of (you'll never guess) SCHOOL!! haha I feel like I've just been writing about all the experiences I've been having while here because those have been the big things, but I actually have been doing work over here don't worry !! ;)

We had a presentation due on Tuesday, an essay on Wednesday and our final on Friday so it was a pretty stressful week due to me being the queen of procrastination this summer. We still squeezed in time for some fun though!!

It was a girlies birthday on Tuesday night so we did a little canal cruise that evening which was pretty memorable !! We also just spent a lot of time hanging out and talking about all the memories of the summer as well as ROASTING CIEE Amsterdam (except for our Prof she was actually one of the coolest people EVER)!!

Thursday night we took a break from studying for the final to go to the Anne Frank house. It was really heartbreaking to go through and hear the families of the annex's stories but amazing at the same time. I never knew that Anne had dreams of being a writer or a journalist either. I think its really spectacular how her wish still came true and that her words have now touched billions of people.

Today we took our final, I packed up my room which was pretty bitter sweet and we attended our farewell dinner. Its crazy to me that we all met eight weeks ago. It went by so fast but was full of so many amazing memories I will cherish forever! Tomorrow is my last day with everyone which is going to be pretty sad, but its not a goodbye its a see you later :)
