my alarm may have woken me up at 2:30 am on Friday morning. I may have been tired. BUT I WAS HYPE BC I WAS ON THE WAY TO GREECE!!! I met everyone at the train station at 3:20 so we could catch a train to the airport. We had some minor difficulty finding each other, and also our train but eventually we were on our way!! after an early morning breakfast at the airport we made our way the the gate and boarded our flight! I immediately passed out on the plane because waking up at 2:30 had finally gotten to me and woke up as we were landing in Kos!

After getting off the plane and walking through the smallest airport I've ever been in we boarded the bus to head to our hotel in Kos City! We got dropped at the station and wandered through the town to find our hotel. After a little wandering we walked out of the shops to find the most picturesque harbor I've ever seen. The water was bright teal, and was full of little fishing ships it was beautiful. We quickly found our hotel and went to drop our bags in the luggage room before grabbing a quick lunch. The big discovery of lunch was that any and all greek food is DELICIOUS. Really you can't go wrong with any of it. I just had a salad and it was one of the best things I've eaten which I can attribute COMPLETELY to the cheese. the greeks have some good cheese my friends.

After lunch we went back to our hotel, got the keys to our room and changed into our suits to head to the beach!! We made a pit stop for some ice cream & towels and a little shop keeper gave me some free post cards!! After our little shopping trip we made out way to the beach! Kos is really close to Turkey so you could actually see it from our beach which was pretty cool! The water here was crystal clear which was beautiful to look at but it was also FREEZING so I spent most of Friday on the rocky shore appreciating the views!

After our beach day we grabbed dinner and then went back to the hotel since we had to be up early (ish) for our boat tour in the morning!!! I'm not over hyping it or anything but Saturday July 7th, 2018 was one of the best days EVER. I hadn't realized how much I missed the ocean until we got to Greece and getting to spend the day on the water was PERFECT!!

Our first stop on the tour was Vathi a village on the island of Kalymnos. Our boat pulled into a fjord and the little village was slowly reveled as we pulled in. The water here was so teal it was almost green it was so different from anything I've ever seen before! The island is famous for its fresh orange juice so we all grabbed a glass before heading of the cliffs to CLIFF JUMP!!! I'm kinda aderline junkie so this was one of the most fun things I've ever done! I did end up bruise my arms from hitting the water so hard but it was WORTH IT!!!

After Kalymnos we had a traditional greek lunch on the boat where I discovered that tzatziki sauce is one of the best creations to ever exist. If you haven't had it go get some I'm HOOKED! During lunch we started making our way to our next stop: Plati islet. Here the boat anchored a little off shore and we got to jump off the side on the boat into the water which was super fun!! it was crystal clear here to so with googles on you could see forever which was so neat!

After Plati we headed to Pserimos island. Here the water was just as clear as everywhere else we had been, but it was shallow and so still. We grabbed some ice cream and ended up eating it in the ocean. The town itself was so cute too it was all blue and white like you imagine when you think of greece!

We ended the day back in the harbor and had dinner at a little cafe where I had much more tzatziki sauce!!

The next day we went to the historical part of town and saw the trees of Hippocrates as well as other ruins! We couldn't go into the Castle of Kos though because it still hadn't been repaired after a recent earthquake but the outside of it was still pretty cool! After getting our historical fix we spent a lot of time souvenir shopping before we inevitably had to make our way back to the airport for our flight.

Definitely one of my favorite trips so far! If anyone wants to save up and go back to greece let me know I'm GAME WHENEVER!!!
