BEACH DAY WAHOOOOO

When you think of Amsterdam I’m sure the first word that pops into your head is: BEACH! ahahahha it definitely wasn’t for me but when they suggested we head down for the weekend i was stoked!!!!! I had really been missing the beach and it sounded like just they thing!!! We packed up our backpacks and started the hour long bus ride to Zandvoort! It was a BEAUTIFUL day and the water was FREEZING so i spent most of the day on the sand but it was fun all he

same!! We took a break from the sun to grab lunch and watched a little of the World Cup!! (My biggest discovery since coming to Europe is that soccer has the BEST fan base i want to like it more just for that fact but i still think it’s pretty boring SORRY DAD ILL LEARN TO LOVE IT AT SOMEPOINT) After lunch we headed back to the beach we’re I taught one of the greatest life guard card games to ever exist to everyone. It proved to be very difficult to play in the wind but was fun all the same!! We eventually had to pack up and started to make our way back to the bus station ONLY TO FIND OUT THE BUS WASNT COMING!!!! A theme of this trip is that we live on the struggle bus when it comes to transportation. We ended up having to split and Uber because there was no other way to get home and it would be around a 3 hour walk so that wasn’t really in the cards for the day. We all ended up making home safe and sound eventually! It’s really was a fun fun day !
