HELLO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!!!!

So I have the absolute worst luck with airplanes and my flight has now been delayed for the forth time. SO since it looks like I’m going to be here for awhile I thought I’d give a little update on the weekend!!

We had a little mishap when booking our flights so we split at kings cross and then found each other once we arrived in Dublin! After getting in we hopped on a bus and started making our way to our air b&b! As we made our way into the city we noticed it was PACKED with people and everyone had on these bright red light up bracelets! Thinking we had stumbled upon some fun Irish event we started searching google, only to find out it was the crowds from a Taylor Swift concert! Which we thought was kinda funny!

We did eventually make it to our Air B&B and proceeded to past out because we needed to be up bright and early the next morning to go to the...

CLIFFS OF MOHER!!!!!!

After meeting our tour group in the city center, we hopped on a bus and started making our way through the countryside to the cliffs! Our tour guide played some Irish jams and gave us a little insight into some Irish history!! The trip went by pretty quick and we were there! at THE CLIFFS OF MOHER !!!! we had two hours to explore and tried to make the most of it walking along the cliffs and taking lots and lots of photos! (It’s me do you expect anything less) It was so beautiful I’m still in shock that I’ve actually been there it was everything i thought it would be & MOHER!!!! But all good things eventually come to an end so with 15 mintues to spare we ran down the cliffs and went to the bathroom, grabbed muffins, souviners and made it to the bus on time (this was actually way more impressive than it sounds i swear)

Anyway we hopped back on the bus and started making our way toward Galway! On the way we took a pit stop at the Burren! The Burren is basically limestone as far as you can see that has all the cracks and crevices in it with little patches of green poking through here and there!! I thought it was really beautiful and had a fun time repeating the tour guides joke that the moon landing was shot here. (It kinda looks like it could have been just saying).

After our stop we finished making our way towards Galway, listening to traditional Irish music and and hearing about the history of all the small coastal towns we were driving through!

We made it to Galway, did a quick walking tour of the city and then stepped into a pub for lunch! I finally had fish and chips which were really good and mushy peas which were not! After lunch we walked up and down shop street poking into stores, listening to street music and eating the best ice cream I’ve ever had!!

We lost track of time a little and made a mad dash trough the city to make it back to the bus one time!

We road back to Dublin and listened to our tours guides tips on things to do in the city! We arrived in Dublin and hopped of the bus to look for a pub to hang out in!

After consulting google maps, our tour guide, and the obnoxious amount of peoples i texted (sorry if you had to deal with me bombarding you) we ended up in a pub no one suggested because we’re really cool that way. After quickly realizing there wasn’t going to be music there we moved to Temple Bar which everyone had suggested and had an absolute blast! The music was so fun and we got to ugly sing and ugly dance so i had a really good time!

This morning we decided to do what everyone had suggested and made our way to the Guinness tour! We had planned to just spend an hour or two there and do something else before heading to the airport but had such a good time we stayed up until we had to hop on the bus to head here! Which is actually really funny because I discovered I hate Guinness (there are some pictures of me tasting it below that are pretty funny if ya need a laugh!!) but all the same the tour ended up being so much fun!!!

It looks like my flight was just delayed again so let’s hope i get on it eventually and make it back in time to catch my flight to Amsterdam in the morning!! Oh and to have time to pack for my flight to Amsterdam in the morning !! Wish me luck :-)
