BEST. BANK. HOLIDAY. EVER.

So today we took the TRAIN (it was exciting, I’m from Houston when do I ever get to take TRAINS?? ) from London to Brighton!! Brighton is this little town on the coast of the English ship channel (we had to look it up when we got there because none of us had any idea what body of water we were actually looking at lol) But when we got there we wandered around a bit and made our way over to the boardwalk! It reminded me a lot of pleasure pier in Galveston except ya know more ~historic~ it had tons of small shops on it we peaked into! After poking around a bit we started looking around to see what there was to do in the area (we’re not very good at planning yet hehe) and stumbled upon the worlds oldest operating electric railway! Naturally we hopped on for a ride down the beach! It was a cute little ride and we got to see a lot more of the cute relaxing beach town so it was super fun BUT OF COURSE IT WOULDNT BE A TRIP WITH ME WITHOUT SOMETHING WERID HAPPENING!!! The trains final destination (unknown to us and hopefully all the little families aboard) was near a “naturalist beach” needless to say we hoped back on and went back to the pier before any damage was done! After that we strolled around some more and did a little shopping we ended up in some crazy places, saw a lots of live bands and had some afternoon gelato (the mark of any good day!) we grabbed some dinner and then made our way back to the train! all and all it was a memorable way to spend a free Monday!
